1. Why is Toyota making changes to Entune™ App Suite?

May 05, 2019  Toyota HQ then gave me a case # and contacts local dealer. Luckily I video recorded my install, and screen saved my download page. Long story short, Toyota HQ said Head Unit needs to be replaced, at no charge to me. I'm at the dealer now, new unit is in with 5.2 s/w and same 'System Not Installed' message is shown with pressing App key. Jan 11, 2014 I found out last week that the latest Entune update had been released to 3.1. Toyota has been kinda hush hush on releasing this update compared to the previous ones. I had my dealer perform the update yesterday and it did fix some of my issues.

As technology and markets change, third-party application providers continuously evolve their products and services. Effective November 13, 2018, Pandora®, OpenTable, and Facebook Places are no longer available in Entune™ App Suite as these products and services are no longer supported by the third-party application providers.

Additionally, on May 15, 2019, Movietickets.com will no longer be available in Entune App Suite as this service will no longer be supported by the third-party application provider.

2. How has this information been communicated to existing vehicle owners?

An Application License Agreement was presented to the customer at registration (Entune™ App Suite) stating that application changes may occur over time. The Application License Agreement can be viewed at any time from within the application. For this update, all registered customers will be sent a communication via the Entune app.
